A Flip of Fate: From Intended Renovation to Forever Home
What began as a planned property flip quickly evolved into something far more meaningful. A Flip of Fate, featured in Home & Design Magazine, tells the story of a once-neglected Florida residence transformed into a refined family retreat through the expertise of Coastal Tide Construction.
Led by founder Abbie Forrest, the high-end renovation focused on preserving the home’s original character while elevating it with thoughtful design, modern functionality, and luxurious finishes. The result is a 7,800-square-foot residence that balances timeless architectural elements with contemporary upgrades, open sightlines, and carefully curated interior details.
Throughout the project, Coastal Tide Construction demonstrated its commitment to craftsmanship, problem-solving, and collaboration — reworking structural elements, enhancing flow, and integrating custom millwork, lighting, and finishes that bring warmth and cohesion to every space. As the renovation came together, the homeowners realized the home was no longer just an investment, but a place meant to be lived in and cherished.
A Flip of Fate highlights Coastal Tide’s ability to see beyond plans and profit, creating spaces that feel intentional, personal, and enduring — homes designed not just to impress, but to hold memories for years to come.
